Add a unique and striking vertical element to your planted aquarium with Cryptocoryne spiralis 'Tiger'. This captivating Cryptocoryne variety is prized for its long, slender, and slightly spiraled leaves that exhibit distinctive reddish-brown to bronze "tiger-stripe" patterns along their length. It's a fantastic choice for adding texture and visual interest to the midground or background of your aquascape.

Key Features:

  • Distinctive "Tiger Stripe" Pattern: Features unique reddish-brown to bronze stripes on its long, slender leaves.
  • Vertical Growth Habit: Adds height and a different leaf shape to the aquascape.
  • Relatively Hardy: Tolerant of a wider range of water parameters once established.
  • Adaptable: Can grow well in low to medium light conditions.
  • Good for Midground/Background: Its height makes it ideal for filling vertical space in the aquarium.

Planting and Care:
Cryptocoryne spiralis 'Tiger' should be planted directly into a nutrient-rich substrate to support its root development. Like other Cryptocorynes, it may experience "Crypt melt" (sudden leaf die-off) when introduced to new tank conditions, but it usually recovers and sends out new growth over time. Avoid drastic changes in water parameters to minimize the risk of melt. Once established, it is relatively low-maintenance. It propagates via runners, slowly forming a colony over time.

Bring a touch of the exotic to your planted aquarium with the unique and visually appealing Cryptocoryne spiralis 'Tiger'.
